Our expanding Civil Construction Company is currently in search of an Office Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to supervise all accounting operations. This encompasses managing payroll, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, human resources functions, bank reconciliations, deposits, as well as preparing submittal and proposal packages, along with any other accounting-related duties. Additionally, the position involves overseeing general office management tasks, such as coordinating maintenance and addressing facility requirements.

Comprehensive training will be offered during the onboarding period.

Previous experience within the construction sector will be viewed favorably.

The Office Manager should also be prepared to manage various ancillary duties, including:

  • Answering all incoming telephone calls.
  • Collecting and distributing all incoming mail.
  • Processing all accounts payable documentation, which involves obtaining necessary approvals for purchases.
  • Monitoring all company-owned vehicles and equipment via tracking systems.
  • Recording gasoline usage attributed to specific job sites.
  • Keeping track of all company cell phones and their associated warranties.
  • Ordering all office supplies and maintaining inventory records.
  • Ordering all company uniforms and managing that inventory.
