A well-established and expanding construction firm is currently looking to hire a meticulous Bid Coordinator to join their team as soon as possible.

Position Overview:

• Identify and source potential projects and bidding opportunities.
• Oversee the initial setup and administration of projects and bids.
• Conduct cost estimations and analyze bid proposals.
• Prepare and assemble comprehensive bid submission packages.
• Perform research on materials to ensure precise and accurate bidding.
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• A strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Proficiency in mathematics and organizational abilities are advantageous.
• Capable of interpreting construction blueprints and specifications to determine material and special project needs (training can be arranged if necessary).
• Must be proactive and utilize all available resources to investigate materials and specifications.
• Exhibit a high degree of attention to detail.
• Possess effective time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Must work well under pressure while sustaining a constructive and positive demeanor.
• Able to follow instructions and adhere to established company policies and protocols.
• Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Office applications.
• Must comply with company attendance standards, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
