We are seeking meticulous, dynamic, and imaginative candidates to become part of our 2026 Touring Media Team in the role of Media Center Associates. This position merges responsibilities in photo editing with live event production assistance.
Position Overview
In the role of Media Center Associate, you will operate behind the scenes to assist in sorting, editing, and overseeing the photographic and video content captured at our live dance competitions. Additionally, you will provide support for the setup and dismantling of production elements, contributing to the creation of a memorable event atmosphere.
This opportunity integrates digital media tasks with practical event operations, making it an ideal match for an individual possessing a keen attention to detail, adept organizational abilities, and an appreciation for live performances.
Responsibilities
- Photo Editing and Organization: Select and perform basic edits on event photographs to align with established quality guidelines. Systematically categorize, tag, and archive image files for subsequent access.
- Video Footage Management: Accurately label and arrange unedited video clips. No advanced video editing is necessary.
- Production Support: Aid in the loading and unloading of event equipment and branded materials. Verify that all signage and event branding are correctly positioned.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with photographers, videographers, and production directors. Provide additional onsite assistance to staff as required for production or media-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience using photo editing applications such as Lightroom or Photoshop is desirable.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple assignments and adhering to tight schedules.
- A cooperative mindset, positive demeanor, and readiness to travel extensively.
- Available to work extended hours over weekends, typically from Thursday through Monday.
- Must be physically capable of lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds during event setup and breakdown.
- Possession of a valid government-issued identification or passport is mandatory.
- Previous experience interacting with children and families is considered beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Earnings: Compensation ranges from $200 to $900 per event, equating to an hourly rate of $18 to $20, based on relevant experience.
