Location near Temple at 3431 Pomona Blvd.

Hourly compensation is set at $22.00.

PARTNERSHIP FOR ACTIVE LEARNING SERVICES, INC

Our organization delivers one-on-one Independent Living Skills training to clients with Developmental Disabilities who are served by the Regional Center. We are seeking individuals to instruct clients in essential daily living skills; no prior certification is required. Staff members will be assigned to serve the San Gabriel Valley region. We currently have openings for personnel to work in Pomona, Baldwin Park, Hacienda Heights, West Covina, and La Puente. Applications are being accepted for part-time positions, with the potential for these roles to transition to full-time employment.

The diagnoses of our clients vary and include conditions such as Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism.

Training and personal assistance encompass a wide range of life skills. Key instructional areas include:

• Medical Care
• Community Integration
• Laundry
• Mobility Training
• Socialization
• Advocacy
• Menu Planning
• Grocery Shopping

These are among the primary goals our staff are tasked with teaching.
