Position Overview

• Provide top-tier ADA design services and maintain quality control and assurance throughout project construction phases.
• Operate laser scanning software to gather data and produce accurate site plans using AutoCAD or Civil 3D (training available).
• Prepare construction documentation that addresses and rectifies ADA and accessibility compliance issues.
• Assist the construction team by developing scoping documents, performing quantity takeoffs, and creating shop drawings and details.
• Assume increased responsibilities under the mentorship of experienced senior team members.

Desired Qualifications

• A collaborative team member.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in ADA design or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is strongly advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of ADA Standards (ADAS), the California Building Code (CBC), and other accessibility regulations.
• Innovative, meticulous, driven, and enthusiastic about ADA design and construction.
• Educational or professional background in architecture, civil engineering, or proven drafting expertise.
• Knowledgeable about construction drawings, permitting procedures, and approvals from governing jurisdictions.
• Proficient with 3D software; familiarity with Dynamo programming is beneficial.
• Fluent in English; experience using Autodesk platforms, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam is a plus.
• Possession of a CASp certification is considered an asset.
