Remote Construction Estimator and Quantity Take-off Specialist

A commercial construction firm is seeking a remote construction estimator to support quantity take-off tasks for commercial and public sector projects valued between one and fifty million dollars.

Job Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel, BlueBeam, the Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud-based file sharing platforms.
• Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Must possess a personal computer and necessary software.

Job Duties:

The selected candidate will carry out estimating take-off assignments for projects within the stated value range. A thorough understanding of estimating and take-off methodologies, along with the ability to organize work by CSI codes and trade packages, is essential. The role does not require providing unit pricing, as that will be supplied by the Chief Estimator.

This position is for a 1099 independent contractor. Compensation is set at fifty dollars per hour.
