Position Title: Draftsperson

Summary of Position:

Draftspersons collaborate with the TSR design team to develop and engineer projects from the conceptual phase through to fabrication. Additional responsibilities involve providing supervision and consultation during the fabrication process.

Description of Duties, Including but Not Limited To:

• Providing drafting support for the technical design and engineering of scenic elements and special effects.
• Working in conjunction with technical designers, project design teams, and project managers to ensure the final product aligns with the client\'s vision and requirements.
• Adhering to and maintaining project schedules.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of professional drafting experience or an equivalent college education.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Google Sketchup software.
• Hands-on fabrication experience with wood and metal, along with familiarity with a broad range of construction materials, is a preferred qualification.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours as project demands require.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
