Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Job Type: Entry Level, Full-time - Swing Shift

Uniforms: Dinasty Security supplies the uniform, which includes a long or short-sleeve shirt, a windbreaker, pants, and a company hat.

Equipment: The following equipment must be acquired by the employee within one month of starting the position:

• Duty Belt
• Handcuffs with a holder
• Flashlight with a holder
• Security Badge
• Tactical boots are required

Job Duties:

1. Access Control: Screen and register all visitors entering the premises.
2. Conduct hourly patrols on foot or using a Golf Cart/Detex system.
3. Secure and guard the facility and other assigned areas.
4. Observation: Stay vigilant and watch for any unusual or suspicious activities.
5. Reporting: Draft incident reports and inform the management team of any occurrences.
6. Log the entry and exit of trucks, trailers, and containers, and record temperatures.
7. Customer Service: Consistently provide courteous and respectful service.
8. Verify seal numbers on trucks, trailers, and containers.
9. Function effectively as a team member.
10. Communicate with the client to provide reports.
11. Submit daily activity logs and serious incident logs.
12. Protect the property and ensure its safety.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Effective communication abilities
• Skills in surveillance and reporting
• Punctual, dependable, and respectful
• Customer service skills
• Bilingual ability is preferred
• Situational awareness
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to undergo training
• Pepper spray certification or willingness to undergo training

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of lifting 15-20 pounds
• Must be able to stand for the entire duration of the shift
• Bilingual skills are required
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
• Must have reliable transportation

License: A California Guard Card is mandatory and required.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: Strong experience is desired. However, entry-level opportunities are open for those new to the security field.
