Payroll Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Payroll Assistant Administrator to become part of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete weekly payroll for staff utilizing designated payroll systems.
  • Input and confirm employee information concerning hours, salary modifications, deductions, and tax details with high precision.
  • Balance payroll accounts by conducting thorough examinations of general ledger postings, accounts payable and receivable documentation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Help in formulating journal entries for payroll expenditures and ensure they are correctly recorded in the company\'s financial system.
  • Keep detailed documentation of payroll activities, staff information, tax submissions, and audit materials following company guidelines.
  • Work alongside the human resources department to ensure precise data entry for new employees, departures, and employment status updates.
  • Perform routine reviews of payroll information to detect inconsistencies or mistakes and address them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Payroll Assistant or comparable position is advantageous.
  • Skill in using payroll applications like QuickBooks is strongly preferred.
  • Solid analytical capabilities with effective data evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of tax rules and 2025 Labor Law requirements pertaining to payroll operations.
  • Familiarity with payroll platforms used for managing employee files.
  • Outstanding precision and orderly skills.
  • Capacity to operate cooperatively in a team setting while efficiently handling various duties.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities for engaging with staff and other organizational units.
  • Preference for candidates who speak Tagalog (bilingual proficiency is beneficial).
  • Compensation rate: Based on relevant experience.
