An import and distribution firm is seeking a skilled and seasoned professional with a background in collections and accounts receivable management.

The perfect applicant will possess expertise in debt recovery, demonstrate strong attention to detail, be reliable, and exhibit comfort in communicating with clients to maintain current accounts while preserving positive business relationships.

Primary Duties

• Reach out to clients concerning overdue invoices and secure payment for outstanding amounts.
• Track aging reports and conduct consistent follow-ups to guarantee payments are received on schedule.
• Examine customer accounts for any inconsistencies and collaborate with clients to settle billing disputes.
• Record received payments and ensure customer account information is kept precise within the company\'s system.
• Engage professionally with internal teams, such as sales, accounting, and shipping, to confirm order details and address account-related issues.
• Generate summaries and provide management with updates on collection progress and delinquent accounts.
• Assist the department with additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Competent in using Microsoft Excel and standard office software applications.
• Fluent command of the English language, both in written and verbal communication.
• Exceptionally organized, meticulous, capable of handling multiple tasks, and dependable.
• Receptive to training and eager to learn the company\'s specific procedures and systems.
• Pleasant demeanor with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is advantageous but not mandatory.
