Re/creation Cafe in Mid City is now accepting applications for multiple open roles.

Barista Position

This is a part-time role requiring availability for 3 to 4 shifts weekly, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and a dedicated work ethic. A minimum of two years of barista experience, including proficiency in latte art, is required. Previous bartending experience is considered an asset.

Bartender & Host Positions (Private Events)

We are also hiring part-time bartenders and hosts specifically for private functions. Bartender candidates must possess at least two years of relevant experience and foundational bar knowledge. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Re/creation Cafe is a premium fast-casual establishment in Mid City, adjacent to Culver City and Koreatown, which features art and music while offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. We operate from Tuesday through Sunday and host numerous private events. We seek committed, dependable, and positive team players who excel in customer service and exhibit strong attention to detail.

Open Positions Summary

Barista:

• Minimum of two years of barista experience with latte art skills.
• Must be available to work 3 to 4 nights per week, Tuesday through Sunday (initial schedule of 24-32 hours weekly).
• Food service experience and ServSafe certification are mandatory.
• Starting wage is $17.87 per hour plus tips (averaging an additional $10 per hour).
