About This Job

Nguyen\'s Kitchen is a contemporary Asian restaurant offering flavorful cuisine in a quick-service setting. We are currently seeking LINE COOKS to join our team in Carson. Ideal applicants will possess an optimistic and driven mindset, with a desire to advance alongside our company. Our establishment operates from 10:00 AM until 1:00 AM, seven days a week. Compensation

• Initial pay rate is $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, plus gratuities.
• All existing staff earn more than $2 per hour in tips.
• The starting wage will be determined by relevant experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in spoken English is required.
• Must have availability for late-night shifts (6:00 PM to 1:00 AM).
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Utilize kitchen appliances including toasters, flat-top grills, deep fryers, stovetops, and ovens to fulfill customer orders.
• Prepare sauces, teas, and meats in bulk for future service.
• Clean, chop, and ready vegetables for later use.
• Lift items weighing between 20 and 50 pounds as necessary.
