Part-Time Line Cook Position Available – Neighborhood Sports Bar and Restaurant in Long Beach

A bustling local bar and restaurant situated in Long Beach is currently seeking a dependable and proficient Part-Time Line Cook to become a member of our culinary staff. Location:

Long Beach, CA

Schedule:

Three to four shifts weekly, primarily during evening hours with some weekend availability required.

Compensation:

An attractive hourly wage, determined based on experience. Complimentary meals are provided during breaks.

Primary Duties:

• Prepare and execute all menu items with consistency and speed.
• Complete ingredient preparation and ensure your station remains well-organized.
• Adhere strictly to all established food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain composure and efficiency during peak service times.
• Collaborate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and orderly workspace.

Candidate Requirements:

• One to two years of line cook experience is desired; background in a bar or restaurant environment is beneficial.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Capable of accurately following recipes and procedures.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Possession of a valid Food Handler’s Card, or willingness to acquire one promptly.
