Position Details
Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $30.65 to $37.26, commensurate with experience within this scale.
Status: This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Reports to: The Deputy Director of Finance and the Director of Finance.

Our Organization
For more than five decades, the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo has been dedicated to developing and sustaining affordable housing in our community with a focus on long-term sustainability. Our accomplishments include constructing new housing, renovating and preserving existing properties, managing the Section 8 program with fiscally responsible property management practices, and collaborating to serve diverse households, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and homeless individuals and families. We are proud of our numerous achievements, which include receiving the National Award of Excellence from NAHRO, the High Performer Award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and many local recognitions.
Compensation and Benefits
The listed compensation range is divided into five steps, with a five percent increase between each step. Employment offers are typically made at the first step of the range, but a higher starting step may be considered based on the successful candidate\'s qualifications. New employees are eligible for a pay increase after completing the six-month introductory period and annually thereafter, up to the maximum of the range. The compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan; more details are available in the application materials. HASLO operates on a 9/80 work schedule: hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and every other Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (the office is closed on alternate Fridays). Please note that some departmental schedules may vary based on operational needs.
