Occupational Therapist for Adult Day Health Care Center in South Bay (Torrance)
About This Job
We are presently seeking a part-time licensed occupational therapist to join our community-based geriatric healthcare team, serving the Torrance, Gardena, and South Bay regions. This role is within an Adult Day Health Care (also referred to as CBAS) setting.
The schedule entails 4 to 5 days per week, with 4 morning hours each day. Weekly hours are consistent, making this an excellent complement to an existing part-time schedule.
We operate numerous locations across Los Angeles and Orange counties. Comprehensive training is available for those new to the ADHC environment to ensure a smooth and supported transition.
Our organization delivers physical and occupational therapy services to frail, low-income seniors living in the community. Our goal is to prevent further health decline that could result in hospitalization or nursing home admission.
Therapists will collaborate with registered nurses and social workers as part of a multidisciplinary team in a creative, caring, and relaxed atmosphere. The work is not physically strenuous—for instance, no maximum-assistance patient transfers are required—and there is no pressure to meet daily patient quotas.
For further details, please email your resume along with any questions or expressions of interest. Thank you.
