Female Caregiver Position in Culver City

About This Job

We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled caregiver to become a member of our team. This position involves providing support to a female client residing in Culver City. The client suffers from significant back pain and requires careful assistance when entering and exiting the shower, for which a built-in bench is provided. She also needs support with light physical exercises, as she fatigues quickly and cannot remain standing for long durations.

Additional responsibilities include providing transportation to medical appointments and occasional help with shopping or other tasks. The client prefers a tranquil environment, so we are looking for an individual who is serene, respects personal boundaries, and is not excessively conversational or intrusive. Remaining fully focused and attentive is paramount; therefore, using a phone during scheduled care hours is not permitted.

Due to the client\'s COPD, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness is non-negotiable. Caregivers are required to wear a mask while on duty and must avoid wearing strong perfumes or any scented products. Ensuring a clean and safe setting is vital for her health and comfort.

Schedule

Daytime Hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Days of the Week: Monday through Friday

Application Requirements

The preferred candidate will satisfy the following criteria:

• Possess a vehicle and valid car insurance.
• Maintain a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations.
• Be a legal resident of the United States.
• Be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be registered with the Department of Social Services, which includes completing live-scan fingerprinting.
• Have a minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
