About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who is skilled, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and communicates effectively with residents. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a diverse array of maintenance duties autonomously. This position is crucial for ensuring our apartment communities remain secure, well-kept, and pleasant for all occupants.

Primary Duties

  • Execute routine maintenance and corrective repairs across systems including plumbing and electrical, as well as tasks like patching and painting.
  • Address and close out work orders in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Perform scheduled inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.
  • Support the process of preparing units for new residents and contribute to overall property upkeep.
  • Preserve the condition and appearance of all common areas.
  • Collaborate with property management to effectively prioritize and schedule repair activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall repair.
  • Capacity to work independently while efficiently handling multiple assignments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor with both tenants and management.
  • Ownership of a truck suitable for transporting tools, supplies, and larger items between properties is necessary.
  • Must possess a basic set of personal tools; specialized tools will be supplied as required.
