Resident Property Manager Position

We are seeking a reliable and seasoned On-Site Resident Manager for a meticulously maintained 71-unit apartment community situated in a premier Koreatown area. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will receive comprehensive support from our property management office and a direct supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collecting monthly rental payments.
  • Assigning maintenance work orders and coordinating access for service personnel.
  • Showing available units to prospective tenants.
  • Performing move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Maintaining accurate and current records.
  • Posting official notices as necessary.
  • Addressing resident inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Performing light maintenance and upkeep of common areas.
  • Conducting annual inspections of all units.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in property management or onsite management.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, California landlord-tenant law, and Los Angeles County Rent Control ordinances.
  • Fundamental proficiency with computers and smartphones for tasks such as email and photography.
  • Physical capability to walk the property daily, move trash bins, climb stairs, and lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.

Compensation Package Includes:

  • A one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment provided at an approximate value.
  • An hourly wage of $17.81, which aligns with the minimum wage for unincorporated Los Angeles County.
  • A full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
