Role Summary
The Loan Officer Assistant will provide essential support to the Loan Officer. Duties include managing client correspondence, coordinating schedules, and guaranteeing the prompt submission of necessary paperwork, which encompasses completing broker agreements and fulfilling various licensing prerequisites. This position demands excellent organizational capabilities, self-assurance, and proficiency in handling demanding situations.
Primary Duties
- Systematically arrange and oversee loan application and transaction records.
- Serve as a liaison for communication with clients, real estate professionals, and other involved parties.
- Assemble and examine loan-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
- Monitor and ensure the timely follow-up on outstanding documents.
- Complete necessary broker application packages.
- Deliver outstanding client support through telephone and electronic mail.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to the mortgage or financial services field is beneficial.
- Superior skills in organization, communication, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capacity to work effectively both autonomously and within a group setting.
- Competence with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with specialized loan processing software is a bonus.
