About This Job
We are looking for a committed and meticulous Property Manager to become part of our organization. This individual will be responsible for supervising an expanding collection of multifamily residential assets. The position is a full-time, on-site opportunity that involves direct collaboration with ownership and support personnel to handle the routine functions of several residential communities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the everyday activities for a portfolio of multifamily properties, guaranteeing proper upkeep and adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Handle all aspects of tenant relationships, which encompasses leasing, lease renewals, collecting rent, addressing service inquiries, and resolving disputes.
- Provide supervision for on-site managers and maintenance personnel as needed.
- Organize vendor agreements, repair work, and projects for capital improvements.
- Monitor budgets, generate financial summaries, and assess property performance relative to established goals.
- Perform routine site evaluations to maintain quality standards.
- Assist ownership with long-term planning, occupancy objectives, and initiatives designed to increase property value.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, with a preference for backgrounds in multifamily housing.
- Solid knowledge of leasing procedures, rent collection, regulatory compliance, and building operations.
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities, coupled with a forward-thinking mindset for resolving issues.
- Working familiarity with property management software platforms such as Yardi or AppFolio, or similar systems.
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks across a varied portfolio of properties.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Tagalog and English is considered a plus.
