Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and amiable Leasing Agent to become a member of our team. The perfect applicant will have a strong interest in leasing, client relations, and assisting future residents in discovering their ideal apartment. You will act as the primary representative for our community—leading potential tenants through the rental procedure, ensuring resident contentment, and aiding the property management staff.
Primary Duties
- Welcome and aid prospective residents; perform tours of vacant apartments and shared community facilities.
- Quickly address leasing questions received by telephone, email, and in-person visits.
- Clearly describe lease conditions, costs, and community regulations.
- Handle rental applications, confirm applicant details, and assemble lease contracts.
- Keep current on apartment availability and local rental market developments.
- Oversee move-in and move-out processes.
- Assist with marketing efforts, which include social media campaigns and community events.
- Maintain a tidy, orderly, and attractive leasing office and display units.
Required Qualifications
- Prior background in leasing, sales, or customer service is desirable.
- Excellent people skills and verbal and written communication abilities.
- Businesslike demeanor and optimistic outlook.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and performing in a dynamic setting.
- Knowledge of property management platforms, such as Yardi or AppFolio, is beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary; a college degree is favored.
- Must be willing to work on weekends when necessary.
