Responsibilities:

• Serve as an independent senior litigation paralegal, possessing robust litigation capabilities.
• Support lawyers in the creation of legal paperwork, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and discovery materials.
• Systematically arrange and oversee legal records and documentation.
• Compose and generate correspondence along with various legal forms.
• Examine and edit legal papers to verify their precision and thoroughness.
• Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court dates.
• Convert dictated recordings into written transcripts.
• Aid in document handling through platforms like iManage or comparable systems.
• Conduct autonomous research and assemble materials for court proceedings.
• Prepare memoranda of costs. This role is available for full-time or part-time engagement.
• This position is not eligible for remote work.

Required Skills:

• Competence in utilizing legal research resources such as Lexis-Nexis.
• Exceptional writing proficiency for the preparation of legal documents.
• Superior editing skills to guarantee the correctness of legal paperwork.
• Understanding of standard administrative protocols within a legal environment.
• Practical experience with document management software, for example, iManage.
• Capability to accurately and promptly transcribe dictated audio.
• Acquaintance with methodologies for conducting legal research.
• Knowledge of proper techniques and formats for legal drafting.
• Meticulous attention to detail when inspecting and assessing legal documents.
• Solid administrative abilities to manage office-related duties.
