Personal Injury Paralegal

A small personal injury law firm is looking to hire a paralegal with experience in personal injury law. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable, and must be bilingual in English and Spanish. A cooperative team-oriented attitude is essential.

The role includes a variety of responsibilities:

• Managing a high volume of telephone calls.
• Handling case intake and managing client files.
• Communicating with insurance companies.
• Possessing some litigation support experience.
• Scheduling medical appointments for clients.
• Taking messages and directing calls appropriately.
• Processing all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Performing data entry tasks.
• Drafting documents, correspondence, and various forms.
• Providing administrative support to senior paralegals.
• Copying, scanning, faxing, and emailing materials.
• Maintaining physical and digital filing systems.
• Completing additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
• Strong command of business English, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Familiarity and skill with standard office technology, including computers, word processing software, fax machines, and scanners.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Must be a non-smoker.
