About This Job

Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked among the top 50 in the nation, is currently looking for a Real Estate Attorney on a long-term temporary basis. This role requires specific experience in homebuilder law. Qualified individuals are invited to respond to this listing promptly. Position Overview

Duration: This is a long-term temporary assignment, beginning with a six-month term and a strong likelihood of extension.

Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

Work Requirement: Exclusive dedication to this project is required; concurrent employment is not permitted.

Compensation: The pay rate is between $85 and $93 per hour, dependent on experience.

Location: This is a remote position. However, applicants must be licensed to practice law and physically reside in California, Washington, or Oregon.

Required Qualifications and Background

  • Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active, in-good-standing bar license in California, Washington, or Oregon.
  • Demonstrated experience as a real estate attorney, with a concentrated focus on legal matters for homebuilders.
  • Proven skill in drafting purchase and sale agreements, as well as lot contracts.
  • Experience preparing closing documentation.
  • Ability to review title reports and survey-related issues.
  • Competence in preparing homeowners association (HOA) governing documents.
  • Experience drafting easement agreements and other supplementary development documents.
  • Background working within a law firm or in a corporate legal department for a homebuilding company.
  • General real estate legal experience is a favorable attribute.
