Maintenance Technician in Torrance, $20-$24 Per Hour (Torrance, CA)

About This Job

Our food facility company, with locations in Buena Park, CA and Torrance, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service food production equipment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in repairing and troubleshooting production machinery, with a preference for backgrounds in the food industry. Familiarity with basic electrical tasks, including wiring and addressing short circuits, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on wiring, electrical systems, and conveyor belts.
• Apply general mechanical knowledge and proficiency with power and measuring tools.
• Execute repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to support uninterrupted daily production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Demonstrate basic electrical competency, such as replacing outlets and performing hard wiring.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience in machine repair.
• Prior experience with food production machinery and operations.
• Proficient understanding of computerized equipment for diagnostics and problem-solving.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing work environment.

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: First shift, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
• Job Type: Full-time.
