Rantec Microwave Systems is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to fill an immediate vacancy.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operating with minimal oversight, the candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating FADAL and HAAS 3-axis CNC machines.
• Conduct independent inspections on manufactured components.
• Handle work involving tight tolerances of less than .001.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings is essential.
• Experience with Pro E or Mastercam programming is not mandatory but considered advantageous.
• Competency in shop mathematics and inspection techniques.
• Direct experience operating Haas machinery is required.
• Candidates must supply their own personal tools.

EXPERIENCE:

• Approximately seven years of relevant experience is preferred.
• The capacity to acquire a Security Clearance for role-related responsibilities is also preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
