INSIDE AND OUTSIDE SALES: OFFICE MARKETING ASSISTANT

Organize and input business cards and contact information into a computer database. Proficiency in data entry is required. Conduct follow-up telephone calls and engage in telemarketing activities to promote business. Assist in scheduling in-service sessions, lunches, and in-person or Zoom meetings to support business development.

We are seeking a candidate with an upbeat, energetic personality who is a self-starter. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 PM, including weekends. Must be willing to work in the field and assist at exhibit booths.

MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE FOR OUTSIDE SALES

Conduct in-person follow-up visits with existing accounts after in-service meetings. Visit medical offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities include intensive marketing and supply distribution, with follow-up coordination handled by the bookkeeper.

Must be willing to drive to all counties, including the San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino. Mileage compensation is provided.

We are looking for a reliable team member with high integrity and straightforward communication skills. Must arrive early to events for networking, be dependable, and demonstrate initiative. CCHN strictly adheres to Stark regulations as they apply to home care. Preference will be given to candidates with an RN or LVN license and some healthcare knowledge, or individuals familiar with home health care.

Hours are 8 or more per day, 5 to 7 days per week, with availability required for evenings and weekends. Hours fluctuate based on scheduled events. Follow the monthly marketing schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing high-quality customer service, be a team player with a positive and upbeat personality, and maintain a professional demeanor. Strong customer service and inside/outside sales experience are essential. Additionally, must be well-organized, capable of building long-term relationships with clients and applicants, and skilled at selling services through phone and in-person presentations.

We need a trustworthy individual who arrives at events on time and can use unscheduled time to make appointments and cold calls. Must be a self-starter.

PREFERENCES

  • Knowledge of Home Health Care is a plus.
  • Extensive telephone contact with hospital discharge planners.
  • Strong attention to detail, good memory, ability to think quickly, and multitask.
  • Excellent follow-through skills, accuracy, and ability to prioritize.
  • Experience using a computerized database to track all referrals.
  • Must have an excellent attendance record from previous employment.
  • Clear communication skills to effectively promote services to referral sources.

This position primarily involves marketing across the entire city of Los Angeles for two businesses: a licensed private duty home care agency and a non-medical private duty healthcare organization. Services include in-home nursing care for infants, pediatrics, worker\'s compensation cases, long-term care, private insurance, and private pay clients. We provide home care private duty RNs, LVNs, CNA/CHHAs, housekeeping, nannies, and babysitting services ranging from 4 to 24 hours per day. Preference is given to marketing representatives with medical knowledge. This is a fast-paced agency seeking highly enthusiastic individuals motivated to generate business.

JOB TASKS

  • Telemarketing
  • Attend breakfast, lunch, and dinner networking events, arriving early and on time (90% of referrals depend on early arrival)
  • Deliver in-person presentations
  • Cold call medical offices, hospital discharge planning departments, and retirement or assisted living facilities
  • Participate in job fairs and exhibit booths—set up early and attend functions, remaining at the booth and working the room when a second person is present
  • Occasional overnight and out-of-town travel
  • Must be willing to travel as needed, including early morning and evening events, as well as weekends

The starting salary is hourly, ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience.

The office is located in North Hollywood, CA. Weekly meetings with the Administrator are required to review schedules and results from meetings.
