We are now seeking to fill a position at our Culver City venue, Platform—a carefully selected retail-only storefront without a café. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who excels within a design-focused environment, takes pleasure in delivering attentive, personalized customer service, and is equally adept at backend tasks such as handling online orders, overseeing stock, and ensuring operational efficiency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing inventory, replenishing stock, fulfilling orders, and maintaining visual displays. You will perform tasks independently while functioning as a key member of a close-knit, creative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open and close the store
• Develop lasting relationships with customers
• Handle transactions using the Square point-of-sale system
• Fulfill online orders and manage outgoing shipments
• Restock products, organize, and maintain displays
• Assist with visual merchandising in all store sections
• Keep stockrooms clean, orderly, and hazard-free
• Acquire product knowledge through training and independent study
• Share sales observations and customer feedback with the team
• Help with Shopify updates, inventory checks, and administrative duties
• Contribute to special events and projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• One to two years of retail experience
• Experience with point-of-sale systems, Square is preferred
• Detail-focused, organized, and takes initiative
• Knowledge of Excel or inventory software is beneficial
• Administrative experience is a plus
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
