Armed Security Guard for Jewelry Store Inside Mall (Northridge)

About This Job

We are seeking a professional and reliable security guard for a jewelry store situated within the Northridge Fashion Center mall in Northridge. This is a full-time, permanent, long-term position, with duties performed during the store\'s operating hours inside the shopping center.

Schedule

The current available shifts are on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, which includes a one-hour lunch break. Additional days may become available in the near future.

Compensation & Payment

The pay rate is $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at $33 per hour. Employees are paid twice monthly, on the 5th and the 20th. Payment is processed through formal payroll as a W-2 employee, with funds deposited via direct deposit.

Requirements & Equipment

Candidates must possess a valid guard card and an exposed firearm permit. A company shirt and patches will be provided. The required site attire is tactical, consisting of a duty belt, an exposed firearm in a holster, and a tactical vest displaying security patches. Applicants who have their own gear ready for immediate use will be given priority consideration.

Job Duties

The primary responsibilities involve maintaining a visible security presence inside the jewelry store, observing customer activity, and assisting store staff with any security-related tasks as needed.
