JMG SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC., a leading provider of fire and security solutions in Southern California, is currently seeking qualified Service Technicians and Installers for positions in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley region. The company specializes in the installation and maintenance of fire alarms, burglar alarms, closed-circuit television, and card access systems for a diverse clientele, including commercial, industrial, and retail enterprises, as well as certain residential customers.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the selected candidate will ensure the correct and prompt servicing of all systems installed or monitored by JMG. This field-based role demands a comprehensive knowledge of relevant codes and their application to the correct functioning of residential, commercial, and life safety systems. The technician will also act as the primary point of contact between the company and the client, delivering customer service that surpasses expectations while upholding the firm\'s standards for performance and professional conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • A valid driver\'s license with a clean driving history
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the security and fire alarm sector, preferably in installation or service roles
  • Must hold or successfully obtain an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) registration card from the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services
  • Must possess or be actively pursuing a State of California DIR Fire & Life Safety License
  • Physical requirements: The role regularly involves manual dexterity, handling equipment, and pushing or pulling objects. Candidates must be capable of occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds, working at heights up to 75 feet, and performing activities such as driving, sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
