TIG Welder – Full-Time Position (San Gabriel)

Cambero Metalworks is a bespoke metal fabrication business that has been operating in the San Gabriel area for over two decades, since 2003. Our focus is on stainless steel projects, though we are proficient with numerous other metal alloys. We collaborate closely with clients to design, manufacture, and realize their visions for a diverse range of business, residential, commercial, industrial, and manufacturing needs. Our team is tightly integrated, and we are seeking to expand with dedicated, skilled individuals who value high-quality workmanship as much as we do.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience with TIG welding.
• Proficiency with welding machinery and equipment.
• Competence in interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and related technical data.
• Understanding of standard welding procedures, concepts, and methodologies.
• Skill in welding thin-gauge stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Capacity to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting, pushing, and working in confined or awkward positions.
• Aptitude for assembling, constructing, and fitting metal parts together.
• Commitment to fostering a constructive and cooperative workplace atmosphere.
• Effective written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to interact professionally and clearly with colleagues.
• Strong team-oriented work ethic.
• Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
• Reliable punctuality and attendance.

Required Personal Tools

Applicants are expected to supply their own basic welding tools, including a welding hood, clamps, standard hand tools, toolboxes, a measuring tape, and steel-toe work boots.

Compensation and Benefits

• Initial wage: $25.00 per hour (subject to adjustment based on skill evaluation and prior experience).
• This is a full-time role with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including potential overtime.
