Jaguar Design Studio operates as a dynamic agency collaborating with numerous leading firms in Silicon Valley. We are currently seeking a Full Stack Developer who excels in self-direction, rapidly acquiring new technical skills, and guiding projects from the initial idea stage through to final delivery.

Position Details

This is a full-time role operating on a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Pacific Time. We are searching for developers based in Atascadero and nearby regions such as San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create web applications within a team-oriented setting, managing the entire development lifecycle.
• Demonstrate skill in ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, and Git, alongside a capacity to quickly master new tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate directly with our internal design team to offer technical insights on proposed designs and wireframes.
• Take part in client meetings to collect project specifications and report on development status.
• Be available for travel to support projects and company events held in various domestic and international locations.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements

• At least three years of professional software development experience.
• Capable of producing optimized code and recognizing opportunities for more elegant solutions.
• Proficient in HTML5, React JS, Node JS, and JavaScript.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable web application framework.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience using React.
• Solid working knowledge of Git and version control principles.
• Willing and able to undertake domestic and international travel for approximately two to four weeks annually.
• Possesses outstanding task prioritization abilities and can adapt focus smoothly as project needs evolve.
