Are you seeking instruction in guitar, bass, ukulele, singing, or songwriting? Perhaps you are interested in learning about music production and recording? Or maybe your goal is simply to improve your overall musical abilities?

My name is Blake Baldwin, and I am here to serve as your guide on this musical journey. I conduct in-person sessions at my home music studio located in the South Bay area. However, if you are not local, there is no need to worry—we can easily arrange lessons via Zoom.

I bring more than 15 years of teaching experience to the table, having worked both privately and with several musical institutions. These include the Cal Arts CAP program, Sunset Learning Studio, artworx LA, and Long Lake Camp for the Arts. I offer both private and group music lessons and possess extensive knowledge across virtually all rock and pop styles, ranging from pop and indie to classic rock, blues, and even death metal. I also provide coaching for bands.

My lesson plans are customized for each student, but here are some of the areas we might explore during our sessions:

A Bit About My Background

I am a multi-instrumentalist session musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. I hold a 2014 MFA from the Herb Alpert School of Music\'s Performer/Composer program, which is known for its eclectic approach. Since my graduation, I have contributed performances and arrangements to a wide array of collaborative projects and have performed extensively throughout the Southwest and West Coast.

I welcome students of any age and any skill level, whether individuals or groups and bands. Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute durations, and discounted rates are offered for bulk bookings.
