Screenwriting Instruction for Film, Television, and Digital Media

Educational Offerings: Screenwriting courses are available for both groups and individuals, conducted in the Los Angeles region as well as through virtual sessions. Students will learn the craft of writing for film and television. The curriculum covers essential techniques every screenwriter must master, such as developing characters, constructing narrative, proper script formatting, strategies for marketing the finished work, and turning initial concepts or outlines into full screenplays.

Instruction is provided in Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Westchester, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Ladera Heights, Culver City, Palms, Rancho Park, Mar Vista, Santa Monica, Brentwood, and Westwood. Remote online lessons are also available for students outside these areas.

About the Instructor

Bo Svenson finds great fulfillment in assisting others and imparting his knowledge. He is eager to instruct students in writing and the principles for achieving success in Hollywood and global film markets. Thirty of his screenplays have earned Best Screenplay honors at prestigious international film festivals, including awards in Cannes, Moscow, London, St. Petersburg (Russia), New York, Toronto, Montreal, and Hollywood.
