About Me
- MFA in Writing; BA in Pre-Law.
- Experience teaching English at both Ivy League and state universities.
- Previously served as a Writing Advisor for Graduate Applications at Columbia University.
- Advised students applying to JD, MBA, MFA, MA, MPH, and PhD programs, including joint degrees.
- Twelve years of experience as an editor and writing consultant for undergraduate, Master\'s, and PhD students.
- I genuinely enjoy collaborating with applicants and helping to alleviate the stress and anxiety of the application process.
About My Approach
- I do not attempt to manipulate the system or chase admissions trends. I do not promote mythical secrets that promise guaranteed acceptance, as they do not exist.
- My goal is to help you perform at your best. This results in more engaging work for an admissions committee to review and better prepares you for interviews while clarifying the strengths and uncertainties within your overall application.
- You choose your preferred method of guidance. We can review essays together during an online conference or phone call with direct feedback, or I can provide detailed typed comments via Microsoft Word or Google Docs. A combination of both methods is also available.
- Ethical Standards: I do not utilize AI in any part of my process, and I do not write essays on your behalf. When you work with me, you craft your own essay with integrity and pride.
About My Rates
- $90-$115 per round within multi-session packages for comprehensive application support. This requires a minimum of three sessions, each approximately one hour, and includes feedback and follow-up.
