Overview
This position seeks a focused and quick-thinking administrative assistant or paralegal who excels in a setting with high demands. The role combines paralegal duties with administrative and personal assistant functions that are vital to the daily workflow of a legal practice. Prior paralegal experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage phone calls from clients and other contacts, schedule appointments, and maintain calendars.
- Scan, sort, and manage incoming mail, correspondence, and client files.
- Occasionally travel by car within Los Angeles County to deliver or collect documents.
- Develop skills to help prepare correspondence and basic legal documents.
- Learn to perform non-legal research and compile clear, structured summaries.
- Examine client materials with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Manage scheduling, straightforward communications, and general office organization.
- Uphold absolute confidentiality in all matters.
- Complete errands such as obtaining supplies, visiting cleaners, picking up meals, and handling minor tasks outside the office.
- Assist with office cleaning, plant care, and basic maintenance duties.
- Take part in video conference meetings.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or a Paralegal certificate.
