We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman who is prepared to advance into a Project Manager or Project Architect position within our innovative and cooperative team.

About the Position

This role presents a compelling opportunity for a meticulous and driven designer who is passionate about translating drawings into tangible, completed projects. You will collaborate directly with our design and construction departments, generating comprehensive construction documents, liaising with clients and municipal authorities, and contributing to the successful execution of outstanding designs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possesses a deep enthusiasm for design, and is committed to professional growth alongside our firm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough and precise construction documentation.
• Develop detailed CAD drawings and three-dimensional models.
• Support the creation of renderings and client presentations (experience with rendering software is beneficial).
• Perform and meticulously document on-site measurements of existing conditions.
• Work in partnership with design and construction teams throughout project development.
• Engage in clear and professional communication with clients, suppliers, and consultants.
• Coordinate with city planning departments, building officials, and design review boards.
• Attend design meetings and conduct site visits as required.
• Handle multiple assignments independently while adhering to project deadlines.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of professional drafting experience.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD Architecture and SketchUp.
• Familiarity with rendering applications is considered an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of construction drawing standards and detailing practices.
• Must demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and resolving challenges effectively.
• Professional and constructive communication skills.
• Must possess reliable transportation for periodic site visits.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the integrated design-build process and project realization.
