POSITION DETAILS

Role: Bread Baker / Panadero(a)
Location: West Adams District - LA Commissary
Compensation: $21.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM start time
Type: Full-time position (40 hours per week, including weekends—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently align work and conduct with Tartine\'s core mission.
• Demonstrate understanding of bread production, including ingredients and fermentation processes.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting.
• Execute all stages of dough preparation: mixing, fermenting, scaling, shaping, and baking.
• Cultivate positive and professional working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Provide assistance to other departments when necessary.
• Perform occasional supplementary tasks to aid production areas.
• Comprehend the broader operations of the restaurant and contribute to its overall achievement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of one year of professional bread baking experience.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics.
• Possession of a valid Food Handler\'s Certificate.
• Capability to remain standing for long durations and lift items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Commitment to upholding Tartine\'s ethical and professional standards.
