Sitter4Paws is growing and looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as pet sitters and dog walkers throughout the Los Angeles area.

Our committed team provides outstanding care for our clients\' homes and cherished animals. Serving as the main companion for pets in our charge, we value integrity, dependability, and excellent communication abilities in every team member.

Role Overview

In this role, you will operate independently within clients\' residences, carefully following the care guidelines established during their absence. Key duties involve ensuring pet wellness and security, keeping to assigned time slots from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and delivering thorough updates via the TTP application following every visit.

Responsibilities

• Managing pets in a safe manner
• Arriving at client homes within the scheduled window and remaining for the full service period
• Supplying pets with meals and clean water
• Giving medication to pets as directed by their owners
• Cleaning pet spaces, litter boxes, enclosures, and fish tanks, along with replacing small animal bedding
• Providing pets with physical activity as required, such as taking dogs on routine walks
• Communicating updates to pet owners
• Using the TTP app to send messages and photographs
• Informing the office promptly before leaving a visit about any pet health issues, injuries, or safety worries
• Ensuring client homes are secure

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to work on holidays
• Previous experience with dogs and cats
• Possession of a smartphone and a reliable vehicle with current license and insurance
• Flexibility to work assorted hours and days, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness and capability to manage dogs that may pull during walks
• Willingness and ability to administer medication to dogs and cats
• Ability to drive within a 10 to 15-mile radius

Benefits

• Attractive hourly wage of $18.05, plus a $0.25 per hour mobile phone stipend and a travel reimbursement of $0.70 per mile
• Potential for gratuities and extra holiday compensation
• Positions are hired as employees, not independent contractors
