Sitter4Paws is growing its team and looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as pet sitters and dog walkers throughout the Los Angeles area.

Our committed team delivers high-quality care for our clients\' homes and cherished animal companions. Serving as the main caregiver for pets entrusted to us, we value integrity, dependability, and excellent communication abilities in every team member.

Role Overview:

In the role of a pet sitter, you will perform duties independently within clients\' residences, carefully following the care guidelines established during their absence. Key tasks involve ensuring the well-being and security of pets, respecting designated time slots from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and delivering thorough updates via the TTP application following each visit.

Responsibilities:

• Managing pets in a safe manner
• Arriving at client homes within the scheduled window and remaining for the full service period
• Supplying pets with appropriate food and clean water
• Giving medication to pets as directed by their owners
• Cleaning pet spaces, litter boxes, cages, and aquariums, along with replacing rodent bedding
• Providing pets with necessary exercise, such as taking dogs for routine walks
• Communicating updates to pet owners
• Sending messages and photographs through the TTP app
• Informing the office promptly before leaving a visit about any pet health issues, injuries, or safety concerns
• Ensuring client homes are properly secured

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to work during holidays
• Prior experience with dogs and cats
• Possession of a smartphone and a reliable vehicle with current license and insurance
• Flexibility to work various hours and days, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness and capability to manage dogs that may pull on a leash
• Comfortable and able to administer medication to both dogs and cats
• Ability to drive within a 10 to 15-mile radius

Benefits:

• Attractive compensation of $18.05 per hour, plus a $0.25 hourly cell phone stipend and a mileage reimbursement of $0.70 per mile
• Potential for gratuities and extra holiday pay
• Positions are hired as employees, not independent contractors
