We are seeking an energetic couple to serve as resident managers for our charming historic apartment building located in the Silver Lake neighborhood. The property boasts an excellent setting. The perfect applicants will possess strong interpersonal and administrative abilities and be willing to undertake hands-on tasks. They will treat the building as their own, maintaining it with care and dedication to ensure it always presents its best appearance. Ideally, one individual works remotely, is proficient with technology, and has a background in customer service, retail, or sales. The other should be skilled in basic repairs and maintenance. Please note, a weekly maintenance technician is already employed for the property.

About the Property:

This is a lovely hillside building situated in a prime residential area of Silver Lake. It features a combination of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Primary Duties:

• Marketing vacant units and conducting property showings.
• Performing move-in and move-out inspections.
• Supervising all maintenance work, vendor activities, and unit preparation between tenants.
• Promptly responding to inquiries from potential and current residents via phone and email.
• Assisting with the processing of rental applications.
• Collecting monthly rental payments.
• Delivering formal notices to tenants as needed.
• Managing maintenance requests from residents and coordinating with service providers.
• Ensuring daily upkeep of the building\'s cleanliness and exterior appeal.
• Prior experience with Appfolio property management software is a plus, though not mandatory.

Requirements:

• Excellent credit history with no prior evictions or bankruptcies. A clear background check is also required.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle for occasional errands such as purchasing supplies or visiting the post office.
• Proficiency with email, internet communication, and texting is essential.
• Valid automobile insurance is required.
• Must own a computer or laptop, a printer/scanner, and a smartphone.

The compensation for this part-time role is a significantly discounted rental rate on a one-bedroom apartment within the building.
