Become an integral part of our compact yet energetic civil litigation and employment law practice by stepping into the role of Litigation Paralegal. In this position, you will provide essential support to our attorneys across the entire litigation process. Your responsibilities will include aiding in case preparation, discovery, trial support, legal research, and document management, allowing you to contribute significantly to impactful legal matters. A prerequisite for this role is a minimum of three years of experience as a litigation paralegal within a California-based law firm. Primary Responsibilities

  • Assemble case files, systematize evidence, and provide support for trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Perform legal research utilizing platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Compose and review pleadings, motions, along with discovery requests and responses. A firm understanding of discovery procedures is essential.
  • Oversee case documentation and ensure strict adherence to all deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants to facilitate discovery and case readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of hands-on experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Superior organizational abilities and the capacity to handle several cases concurrently.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal document management systems, such as iManage.
  • Knowledge of civil discovery and the California Code of Civil Procedure is advantageous.
