About This Job

Our food facility company, based in Torrance, California, is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to service food production equipment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in repairing and troubleshooting production machinery, with a preference for backgrounds in the food industry. Familiarity with basic electrical tasks, such as wiring, is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on wiring, electrical circuits, and conveyor systems.
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of mechanical systems, power tools, and measurement instruments.
  • Execute repairs, maintenance, and installations of machines, tools, and equipment to support uninterrupted daily production.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Possess some aptitude for electrical work, including replacing outlets and wiring.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in machine repair.
  • Prior hands-on experience with food production machinery and operations.
  • Proficient knowledge of computerized equipment for diagnosing and solving problems.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing work setting.
