Role Overview

We are seeking a 3PL Lead to join our team in North Hollywood. This individual will serve as a key support to management, overseeing client statuses, onboarding procedures, vendor compliance, freight logistics, and daily operational activities. The role requires a client-facing professional capable of managing both internal processes and external communications. The ideal candidate is hands-on and prepared to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine all client orders within the ShipHero system daily, address any holds, and provide status updates to clients.
  • Monitor daily carrier scan reports, identifying and reporting lost, stalled, or delayed shipments to both carriers and clients.
  • Handle freight coordination, including booking shipments, receiving inbound freight, preparing Bills of Lading, and scheduling trucking.
  • Supervise client onboarding checklists, ensuring follow-up with team members or clients until all items are finalized.
  • Assess vendor compliance documentation for clients (such as HSN, QVC, ULTA, Sephora, Credo, TJX, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and others) to guarantee B2B orders meet all specifications and prevent chargebacks.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing division to confirm shipper details, dunnage, branded tape, and packaging materials as required.
  • Engage in direct client communication via Slack, email, phone calls, and meetings.
  • Conduct random quality control checks on picking, packing, and shipped orders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completion of daily reports and exception reports.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in third-party logistics, warehousing, or supply chain is advantageous.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills across platforms like Slack, email, and telephone.
  • Proficient with computers and software including Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and ShipHero.
  • Knowledge of retailer vendor compliance standards is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment serving multiple clients.
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to extend beyond standard working hours when necessary.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
