JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cannabis Extraction Technician to become a member of our production crew. Candidates ranging from those just starting their careers to those with prior experience are encouraged to apply.

Individuals new to the field will begin at a rate of $18 per hour, primarily handling tasks such as grinding plant material and preparing extraction socks. Technicians with relevant background may commence at a rate of up to $23 per hour, contingent upon their specific experience in extraction or laboratory environments.

This is a full-time role that includes comprehensive training and clear pathways for career progression into areas like extraction, distillation, and terpene recovery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grind, measure by weight, and prepare cannabis biomass for processing.
• Fill, pack, and correctly label extraction socks.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly.
• Accurately document batch records, including weights, lot codes, timings, and output yields.
• Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Promptly report any concerns regarding equipment or materials.
• As competency increases, assist with or receive training in butane extraction, wiped-film distillation, and terpene recovery techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrate a solid work ethic, dependability, and an eagerness to acquire new skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and remaining on feet for extended durations.
• Basic mechanical understanding is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or extraction setting is beneficial.
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized for employment within the California cannabis sector.
• Safety-conscious with a proven ability to follow detailed protocols.
