Low Voltage Systems Installer/Foreman

Our company is a well-established low-voltage contractor with a robust pipeline of projects. We are currently looking to hire skilled professionals for the roles of Installer, Foreman, and Lead Technician. Candidates must possess hands-on experience in construction, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting within one or more of the following specialties:

- Wi-Fi Networks
- Computer Networking
- Data Rack and IT Room Build-Outs
- Cable Testing and Certification
Primary duties will involve the wiring and installation of structured cabling for new construction projects, encompassing voice, data, CATV, and fiber optics. This includes setting up analog and IP-based surveillance cameras, installing readers and door hardware for access control, as well as burglar and fire alarm systems, telephone entry and intercom systems, audio-visual equipment, and various other low-voltage technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics to plan system installation and programming
- Knowledge of and adherence to all relevant codes and standards
- Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal, mathematical, and written communication skills
- Ownership of essential hand tools, including an ohm meter, video meter, test monitor, battery tester, and Ethernet jack tester
- Capable of safely lifting 75 pounds, transporting equipment, and working on ladders, including extension ladders, with proper training
- Comfortable working in active construction settings under high-pressure deadlines
- Willingness to work in attics and crawl spaces
- Access to a cell phone and email address
- Reliable personal transportation and a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a written exam and practical skills assessment
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance with outstanding client relations skills
- Must be able to work from ladders and scissor lifts
