About This Service
I am a private tutor holding four degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fields of physics and electrical engineering. I have been honored with the Goodwin Medal, which is MIT\'s most prestigious award for outstanding teaching by a graduate student.
With more than fifteen years of experience in both university instruction and private tutoring, I have worked with a diverse range of students. This includes high school and college students, as well as mid-career adults returning to graduate or professional programs. Numerous students have described me as one of the finest instructors they have encountered in any subject. References can be provided if requested.
I offer both individual and group tutoring sessions.
Subjects
I have extensive teaching experience in the following areas:
- Mathematics: SAT, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, GRE, GMAT, AMC, competition math training, calculus (including multivariable), statistics, probability, linear algebra, differential equations, discrete mathematics for computer science, and data science.
- Physics: AP Physics 1/2/C, MCAT, US Physics Olympiad (USAPhO), classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, waves, quantum mechanics, and Einstein\'s theory of special relativity.
- Engineering: signals & systems, signal processing, analog and digital circuits, semiconductor electronics, control theory, and preparation for the NCEES \"Fundamentals of Engineering\" (FE) and \"Principles and Practice of Engineering\" (PE) examinations.
Locations
Instruction is conducted via Zoom or another remote online platform.
